GOOGLE PLAY STORE ON HCL ME U1

This is the official method by HCL. And I guarantee that this method works perfectly:
  1. Download a file named HCL_rss_Milen_market_9 Click on this link to download the File- http://www.mediafire.com/?uo2m2hocmqxlh2l
  2. Now extract it to Desktop
  3. Now connect your phone to PC via USB
  4. Now power off your Tablet
  5. Press the power button and the button next to it  (volume+) simultaneously.
    (if successful you will get a vdfu disk)
  6. Open the folder and Run run MPTool.exe
  7. Click the setting button.
  8. click the button for (on the right side) PAK and choose the PAK file named vortex.pak .
  9. Click Save and Return button in the bottom.
  10. Just press Scan and again a device will get installed. Wait and after approx. 2-3 seconds next to the scan button you can see a button called Update.
  11. Now click the Update button and wait till the process completes.
  12. When it completes the tab will automatically restarts and for first it will take lot of time to boot so have patient and wait for it.
  13. Once booted you should be able to see android market in the apps menu.
  14. Open it and sign in with your google account and you will have GOOGLE PLAY STORE working.

    after installing this, everything works for some time. Then wifi hangs after few minutes. Then even reboot does not work and i have to reboot. Wifi works for few minutes but then it disconnects and hangs again. Please help

    (I posted on 17th November as well, with wifi related issue) Now RAM also showing up as 256 MB. Any fix? How can I roll it back to Stock ROM?

      RAM is 800MB but show only 298mb because of software problem.

      in the setting window, set system (mb) to 1024 and DDR type to el..8bit 1024 --> click on save and return --> click on update. tab gets rebooted and you can see your ram reclaimed :)

      I tried to install using this method, but when I am hitting scan after completing the earlier steps, it's showing that "No Vimicro disk connected".

    Hi,

    Once power button and + are pressed and cable plugged in it asks for a usb driver instead of displaying vimicro disk.
